Jewelry-
My love and appreciation of art glass led me to taking my first lampworked glass beadmaking class. Now I play with fire and create my own glass beads!
As far back as I can remember I was always intrigued by glass. My mother had a vast collection of art and cut glass and I would marvel at how the sun shining through the windows onto the glass would make the colors dance and the cut glass project as prisms around the room.
My fascination with art glass led me to my first glass beadmaking class. After my first class I started dreaming of beads to make, experimenting with colors and how they react with each other and the shape they would take. I knew the torch was opening up a new world of creativity for me.
The color and shape of my beads guides me in combining them with sterling or copper wire to create my one of a kind jewelry
I am a member of the International Society of Glass Beadmakers and am also a juried member of the Louisville Artisans Guild and the Kentucky Guild of Artists and Craftsmen.
