Jewelry - Jewelry with semi-prescious stones and beads

I am an artist creating jewelry using silversmith techniques to make silver bezels and bails in which to handset stones and cabochons. I make most of my own silver findings, including clasps and hooks to complete each piece. I also do wire wrapping on some stones to make a focal point for necklaces. Included in my work are hand knotted necklaces.I also have a unique assortment of earrings using handcrafted silver, beads and crystals.

Searching for unique & unusual stones and beads is a quest I dearly love. My travels always include visits to the local bead and gem shops to find semi-precious stones and beads to bring back to my studio to create wearable art.

In creating my jewelry, I try to find just the right touch to come together in a complimentary blend of semi precious stones, metal and beadwork. The color scheme of my work is an expression of my individual style. Using several shades of a monochromatic hue seems to make the beads have a blended look and feel to create a flowing necklace or bracelet.

Each creation sends its own message to the buyer. To personalize the buyer’s purchase, I encourage each buyer to research their stones, crystals or beads and their significance or powers.
